A native Long Islander, Kevin Wohlers grew up on the North Shore in a quaint town called Sea Cliff. His love for photography started at a young age, with a Pentax K1000 35mm camera. He began by taking pictures of garden landscapes and building architecture. As the years went on it always remained a hobby, and yet while the technology had changed, his love for photography hasn't.
Originally trained and worked as a Networking Engineer, and later, owner of Saw Mill Technology Computer Consulting, Kevin has always enjoyed the arts. Having a renewed enthusiasm and appreciation of photography, a serious hobby began to transform into a business. His images have appeared in magazines and websites internationally. Most of Kevin’s work includes real estate, landscape, and still life photography.
“We all have our unique vision on how we see the world. As a photographer, my vision is to be able to capture and perceive life that surrounds us. To find the spectacular in the mundane; the grace in the ordinary. Nature is beautiful and I like to capture it. With macro photography you get to see what we ordinarily cannot. I photograph in a way that one normally would not see otherwise. Nothing is ever ordinary; sometimes all it needs is a different light and the will to understand.” – Kevin
